io.read_EDGE_netcdf:
set an range_lim default value of 200km
avoid errors in case range_lim is greater than the maximum range of the data

68b4c85f 02/22/2012 04:17 PM Stephan Jacobi

io.read_EDGE_netcdf:
included the toctree
added an range limitation asinput argument
rounding of theta0 instead of cuting the decimals
rolling the azimuths instead of sorting
added max_range to the returned attributes

b1cb402c 02/21/2012 10:30 PM heisterm

renamed SUB2dBZ to read_EDGE_netcdf and modified and enhanced the function.
It still needs to be clarified whether the data array needs to flipped.

a9e95600 02/21/2012 10:29 PM heisterm

modified project function in georef.py so it can also do inverse projection

535d9771 02/21/2012 08:55 PM heisterm

minor edit in georef_example.py

added convenience function projected_bincoords_from_radarspecs to documentation
minor edit in projected_bincoords_from_radarspecs (now returns ravelled coordinate
arrays)

e9ea507e 02/21/2012 04:16 PM Stephan Jacobi

added the missing import

ddeb07d4 02/21/2012 04:10 PM Stephan Jacobi

added io.SUB2dBZ for reading philipinean s-band radar data

0828e806 02/21/2012 02:03 AM Stephan Jacobi

added tutorials and some minor edits

7d13d00b 02/19/2012 11:36 PM Stephan Jacobi

added colormap argument to vis.polar_plot

20234e29 02/15/2012 01:00 PM Stephan Jacobi

correctAttenuationHJ in atten.py processes even if the input gateset contains
NaNs; in this case all corresponding k(attenuation)-beams are set to NaN, too;
but the remaining PIA will be calculated;

if this approves, the code for the other to correction functions should also be...

43ca2fc6 02/14/2012 01:08 PM Stephan Jacobi

atten.py: moved the NaN-check before first calculations and memory allocations

4ecef29b 02/13/2012 09:23 AM heisterm

change in make.bat: deleting source/generated before each built

b8daab08 02/09/2012 02:05 PM Thomas Pfaff

Fixed bug that occurred if only one point is passed to the IDW Interpolator

dbb2b873 02/07/2012 05:20 PM Thomas Pfaff

removed superfluous calculations
estimated speedup is roughly by a factor of 1.7

c950f98c 02/07/2012 08:37 AM Thomas Pfaff

removed superfluous call to np.where

46829801 02/06/2012 09:36 PM Thomas Pfaff

added _z2rEnhanced_mdcorr function
same result as z2rEnhanced but roughly 50 times faster.

110ceddb 02/03/2012 01:11 PM Stephan Jacobi

Removed the trafo.rvp2r function: for clarity such processchains should be
executed in a more basic way e.g. zr.z2r(trafo.idecibel(trafo.rvp2dBZ(x))), in
order to avoid undue code and import errors (caused by endless
cross-referencing).

2488e713 01/30/2012 11:06 AM Thomas Pfaff

Fixed a refencing bug when nnearest equals 1 in idw

ad472971 01/27/2012 01:56 PM heisterm

Added convenience function ipol.interpolate

This function should not only offer a uniform interface for all interpolation classes.
Particularly, it allows to efficiently deal with missing values in the interpolation
source values (i.e. np.nan values) if your input value array contains missing values...
